Warren is an Elite USPTA tennis teaching professional with over thirty years’ experience working at prominent country clubs, private clubs, and world renown resorts. He enjoys working with beginning players to high performance athletes and helping them reach their individual tennis potential. Warren’s playing experience includes being a top rank junior in Texas, spending two years as a junior player at the world renown Nick Bollettieri’s Tennis Academy. He received a full athletic tennis scholarship at nationally ranked Stephen F. Austin State University, where he achieved All-American honors. His studies included a major in Psychology, minor in Sociology.
As a seasoned Director of Tennis his experience includes creating innovative programming for adults and juniors. His programming experience includes: USTA teams and drills, 10 & under programs, after school tennis programs, tennis camps, pickle ball, cardio tennis, adult clinics, senior programs, special events, league programming, high-performance coaching, High School teams, USTA tournaments, and community outreach programs that include Special Olympics, Autism, and Wheelchair tennis groups.
Over the years Warren has had the great pleasure of working with hundreds of junior players helping them achieve state and national rankings, as well as helping many receive tennis scholarships. He has also helped many adult USTA men and women teams compete in state and national playoffs.
In addition to Warren’s tennis background, he is also a NASM certified personal trainer and holds several advanced certifications: His advance certs include Sports Performance Certified Trainer, TPI golf fitness specialist, Corrective Exercise Training, Yoga Body Stretch coach, and Silver Sneaker certified. Over the years he has enjoyed combining his knowledge and skills in tennis and fitness to direct both departments respectfully at several large facilities.
When not on the tennis courts, Warren enjoys working out, mountain biking, swimming, paddle boarding or exploring the great outdoors. I look forward to meeting you and assisting you with your tennis game or fitness goals.
