Hole 1 Tee Shot
The tee shot should favor the left side of the fairway to avoid the water on the right. Too much left however will find the trees.
Hole 1 View of Green from Left Side of Fairway
This position in the fairway allows a straightforward approach without having to contend with the pond on the right.
Hole 1 View of Green from Right Side of Fairway
Here is a challenging shot to the green because sufficient length must be achieved to clear the water.
Hole 1 View of Green from Behind
From behind this first green the club house may be seen in the distance.
Hole 8 Par 3 View from the Tee
A well hit iron will get you home here over the water. Anything too far left however will be in the water. A cautious golfer will favor the right side of the green.
Hole 8 Par 3 View from Behind
There is also water behind the green and a too well hit ball will end up back here. If you are looking at a shot to the green from this location the big sequoia on the right must be avoided.
Hole 10 Par 4 Tee Shot
Here is a wide open tee shot to start the second nine. But there is water on the left if the ball is hit too far. A tee shot too far right will end up with a blocked approached to the green.
Hole 10 Par 4 View of Green from Right Side
And this is the result of being on the right side of the fairway. Although from this position there is still a possibility to go for the green if the approach is kept low.
Hole 10 Par 4 View of Green from Center of Fairway
This is the ideal position off the tee but there is still potential trouble in front if the approach is not long enough.
Hole 13 Wood Stork
The bird in the picture is an endangered wood stork. It wades around in shallow water dragging its beak along the bottom of the marsh.
Hole 17 Par 3 Tee Shot
Clearance over the water here is the main concern and proper club selection is key.
Hole 17 Par 3 Tee Box
This photo shows a small alligator just to the left of this tee, behind you if you are right handed.
Hole 17 Par 3 From Behind
Looking back into the sun a large gator may be seen on the right. Needless to say any ball on the other side of the flag (in this case) is an automatic gimme.

Legend Oaks Clubhouse - a View from Behind
The eighteenth green is in view here as the rear of the clubhouse is seen.
